5 Steps to Level Up as a Woman
Table of Contents
Hey Gorgeous! Are you looking to level up in life? Level up means: “to make a move in your life or career for the better.” (Urban Dictionary)
I’m here to help you finish 2022 strong and enter 2023 as a fierce, classy, elegant, and determined woman. Did you know that you are constantly leveling up if you improving on what you did before? Remember, you are like fine wine, which just keeps getting better and better with age.
I remember seeing this breathtakingly beautiful woman when I was about 19. She was confident, beautiful, and stylish. She walked into the room and I just immediately wanted to be just like her. I actually said: “I want to be like you when I grow up.” The woman giggled and said: “It’s never too late.” On another day, I met another lady that was just as fabulous in the nail salon and she gave my friends and I some advice. She said: “The key to life is to keep getting better and better.” These moments inspired my process to level up each year.
#1 OWN Your Beauty
Sweetie, I want you to love yourself so much that you walk into a room knowing that YOU are worth everyone’s attention.
You are an absolutely beautiful woman and you were created with a unique personality, style, and presence. To level up, you must OWN your inner and outer beauty. You must learn what makes YOU you.
Self-discovery is the key to owning your beauty and walking confidently. I’m not just talking about introspection and sorting out your feelings. I’m talking about discovering the beauty in the slant of your eyes, the feminine energy you release when you laugh, the warmth you radiate when you love, and the womanliness you exude with every sway of your hips. Yes, I’m talking about embracing all that makes you a WOMAN.
Here are some questions to help you explore your ability to OWN your beauty:
- Do you love your facial features?
- Do you feel comfortable with and without makeup?
- Are you comfortable expressing yourself?
- Do you love yourself and have good self esteem?
- Do you love your unique personality and style?
- Do you dim your light, so others feel more comfortable?
- Are you fearful of attracting too much attention?
- Do you know what your inner power is and how special you are?
- What do you bring to the table in business and relationships?
On my self-discovery journey, I learned that I was afraid of shinning too bright. I didn’t want others to feel self conscious. But, I realized that was holding me back in every area. The truth is, God created me exactly how He wanted me and I can’t change the world if I’m afraid of being me. How can you change the world if you don’t allow your true self to shine?

#2 Practice Self-Care
The second step in leveling up is learning to embrace your entire being. Unfortunately, If you are low on self love then you won’t make the time to groom your inner and external beauty. People can tell when you love yourself and it makes them treat you differently. Yes, it makes people notice you which opens the door for the relationships, business connections, and friendships that you are looking for.
Self-care isn’t about trying to be the BEST or becoming someone that you are not. It’s about taking the time to take proper care of yourself and put your best image out for the world to see. You don’t have to be a certain weight or dress like a fashion model, but you do have to aim to be excellent in how YOU CHOOSE to appear to the world.
- Clearing out emotional baggage.
- Doing nice things for yourself.
- Prioritizing having fun and doing things that make you happy.
- Taking time to put a neat outfit together.
- Practicing good hygiene and wearing deodorant matters.
- Well brushed teeth, tongue, and regular breath mints as needed.
- Neatly styling your hair.
- Well manicured nails and moisturized skin.
- Throwing away old and unraveled clothing & items.
- Try a new clothing style and makeup look.
- Organizing and cleaning up your living space.
- Visiting the doctor and maintaining nutritional health.
- Exercising and physically moving throughout the day.
Remember, it’s the little things that often keep us stuck. Take the time to present yourself as a clean and classy lady. And also, make space in your life to breathe, love, and rest without the presence of toxic relationships & friendships which keep you disempowered.

#5 Embrace your Inner Boss
Are you wanting to level up in your career? Women in high places are needed to close the gender inequality gap. And women are needed to bring a feminine balance to male dominated industries. The key to accessing and thriving in male dominated industries is embracing your feminine leadership traits.

Do your thing hunny and don’t be afraid to ruffle a few feathers when you SHINE. You are kind, cute, elegant, patient, and focused on winning. You got this.
Focus on developing a BOSS Mentality. According to Urban Dictionary the meaning of Lady Boss: “knows what she wants and goes for it. She’s in charge of her life and makes no apologies or excuses for who she is.”
Here are 10 traits of a Lady Boss:

- Feminine – you’ve tapped into your unique womanliness
- Excellence – you have a five star work ethic and attitude 24/7
