Self-Esteem Test: 10 Signs You’re Insecure!

Take this short self-esteem test to figure out if you have high or low self-esteem. Essentially, self-esteem is the ability to love yourself. Do you love your body, brain power, personality, and life? Take this short self-confidence quiz immediately and then you’ll be able to take steps towards building your self-worth and heal your insecurities.

This test is different than most self-esteem tests. Usually, self-esteem quizzes don’t identify toxic traits that contribute to poor self-worth and identity. For this reason, I infuse the toxic coping mechanisms and traits that will cause you to see yourself and life from a negative and defeated point-of-view. The truth is, if your eyes are not well you won’t be able to SEE how amazing and beautiful you are.

10 signs you have low self-esteem:

  1. You worry about what people think.
  2. You don’t think you deserve certain type of people in your life.
  3. You fear people leaving you.
  4. You don’t like your body.
  5. You are afraid to look at yourself in the mirror.
  6. You think your personality is too much.
  7. You wish you had a personality like other people.
  8. You compare yourself to people a lot.
  9. You are always finding something wrong with yourself.
  10. It is hard for you to believe the compliments that people give you.

What is the difference between self-esteem vs self-confidence?

The definition of self-esteem is “confidence in one’s own worth or abilities; self-respect,” according to Oxford Languages. While, the definition of self-confidence is, “a feeling of trust in one’s abilities, qualities, and judgment.”

These two words mean that someone is confident in themselves. The only thing I would add is, “self-esteem and self-confidence is loving yourself and refusing to let any negative energy change your positive view of who you are.” Identity is the most important thing.

In fact, many toxic relationships are geared at attacking your identity — who you are. If you don’t know who you are then you won’t be able to see a toxic person for who they are. Ultimately, they want you to keep thinking you’re worthless so you don’t think they are worthless. Both of you struggle with loving yourself.

This low self esteem test will help you to find out if you are loving yourself well or if you need to find ways to build your self-esteem and self-worth.

My journey has been accepting that God has created me with a big personality and that’s because it was to make a big impact. I’m very opinionated, sensitive, empathetic, honest, focused, and curious. All those traits that God gave me is for a purpose. The way I look was created for a purpose. I had to embrace all that by realizing that God made no mistake with me.

He carefully selected every hair follicle, my nose, my personality, my parents, etc. He did all this before I even existed.
