As ambassadors for Christ it is our duty to display the love, hope, and healing power of God on the earth. Once we accept Jesus, He starts the process of healing our broken emotional state, removing negative thinking, fixing our broken relationships, and helping us to get closer to God. Once God fixes us up, He can start to use us to show others the benefits of salvation.
God wants us to partner with him to help people transform into their Christ like identity; then the world will look like the kingdom of Heaven.
It’s exemplified in the prayer by Jesus: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 God’s kingdom is worthy of excitement because it set broken people free from pain, sin, and impossible situations: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew 13:44

The enemy can only successfully tempt and seduce us when we aren’t in our right mind due to brokenness, weariness, and distrust of God.

When it was full, men drew it ashore and sat down and sorted the good into containers but threw away the bad. So it will be at the close of the age. The angels will come out and separate the evil from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:47-50

- We grow in intimacy with God. “For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7
- God speaks and acts on behalf of the things that are happening in your lives. “Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalms 37:4

Either way, I’m opening the door for God to do more through you. “And he said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable shall we use for it? It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when sown on the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth, yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and puts out large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.” Mark 4:30-32

Ambassador of Christ Bible Verses:
1. To achieve world transformation we much strive to be perfected as expressed in this scripture: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.“ 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
2. Ambassadors clothe themselves in the Whole Armor of God: “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak.” Ephesians 6:10-20
