Prayer Group

WHAT IS THE PRAYER GROUP?

Dear Friend,

Starting in January 2024, we will gather on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month at 3:00-3:40 PM on ZOOM. Would you be interested in joining us?

Our prayer group is an intimate setting designed for those seeking a deeper connection with God. We stand on biblical principles during prayer, declare breakthroughs in our requests, and fellowship with others who share a passion for spiritual growth.

We MEET TWICE A MONTH TO PRAY FOR BREAKTHROUGHS IN THE AREAS THAT ARE
BURDENING YOU AND THOSE THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT BRING TO OUR REMEMBRANCE

PRAYER GROUP FAQS

The prayer group is straightforward, lasting 40 minutes on Zoom. In the first 15 minutes, I’ll welcome everyone and gather prayer requests. Feel free to write your requests in the chat so we can address them all in our prayers.

For the remaining 25 minutes, we will engage in prayer. Prayers can be spoken aloud or kept private between you and God. While anyone is free to pray aloud, we ask that prayers are kept to 2 minutes or under to ensure everyone has an opportunity to share what the Holy Spirit has placed on their heart.

During this time, we will also listen to God’s desire for the session. Depending on His prompting, we may transition into prophecy, worship, or reading scripture.

Absolutely! This prayer group is open to everyone, regardless of their religious denomination or beliefs. All are welcome to attend, and you’re encouraged to invite friends or acquaintances, regardless of their faith background. The group embraces diversity and seeks to create a space where individuals from various walks of life can come together in unity for prayer and spiritual connection.

Feel free to pray in tongues, as it’s welcomed in this space. However, please consider that not everyone may be familiar with or practice this form of prayer. When sharing your prayers out loud, we kindly ask that you keep them under 2 minutes and use tongues briefly. This helps ensure that the entire group can understand what God is saying through you and be edified. Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated.

The word “pray” is mentioned about 322 times in the Bible, depending on the version. Let’s take this command seriously and, together, move mountains with our faith. As the Bible verse says, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20, NIV).
