12 Prayers for the Month of September

When I first got saved, I had a powerful dream I want to share with you. In the dream, there were people doing all sorts of wickedness. The people were characters in a video game that went up in level each time they sinned. The people at the highest level ended up becoming lizards.

I walked passed them and was shocked they couldn’t see what was happening. Then, I walked up to a mountain. I climbed up the mountain effortlessly. When I got to the top, God said: “What can I grant you?” I replied, “I want to rule the world.” Then I was immediately sent back to the bottom of the mountain because my heart wasn’t pure. Then, I had to start my climb to the top all over again.

Is your heart pure enough to approach God? Want do you want? Is it to promote the kingdom of heaven? Or do you desire to receive worldly treasures?

I believe that you are stepping into a similar mountain top season. You too will have a chance to share your desires with God. In Psalms it says: “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” And you’ve been doing that. You’re approaching a season to receive the desires, but you must ask God with a pure heart.

There are important things to pray about that was highlighted in my dream above.

• Pray against spiritual blindness and leveling up in sin.
• Ask God to remove the desire to be powerful and better than others.
• Pray that God would purify your heart, so your desires are pure.
• Let’s pray that saints are more interested in the broken souls around rather than gaining power and earthly treasures.
• Pray that we wouldn’t settle for sin because it’s become so common. Remember, Christ is coming back and evil will be dealt with.

Prayer to Approach God With Purity

O’ Lord, I submit my heart to you. I desire to be a righteous warrior that can boldly approach your throne. So, search my heart O’ Lord. For only you know the depths of impurities that may be hidden there. Thank you for removing pride, so I can humbly sit at your feet. I thank you that you are transforming me from the inside out. Abba, help me to be concerned with seeing the kingdom of heaven on this earth. Set my gaze upon your desire to restore the lost, broken, and stuck. You O’ Lord are our deliverer, purifier, and the lover of our souls. I trust you to passionately seek every soul on this planet. Your love for humanity is deep, wide, and never ending. You delight in giving us peace, hope, and faith. I ask that hearts would be softened to allow you to be apart of their lives. For you are good God. You are worthy of all praise. Amen.

Prayer for the Month of September

Abba father, I submit this month to you. And I give you all that I am O’ Lord. I surrender my fears, desires, questions, and pain. Today, I choose to trust you. You are an intentional God. You don’t do things by accident. And you’re not playing games with the lives of your precious creation. You are actively working to restore and reunite with every soul. You are that good. You are that loving.

You care for me and I don’t have to carry the weight of the world alone. I rejoice in you Lord because I find rest for my soul as I sit in your presence. Your love is sweeter than honey and I crave it daily. I am blessed because I get to live my days with you on this earth. And you constantly restore my weary soul because your yoke is easy and your burden is light. You are so good God and I trust you to handle every and anything. Thank you for being you. Thank you for being God. Amen.

Prayer Points for the Month of September

• Help me O’ Lord to love what you love and hate what you hate. I desire to have a heart that only yearns for the things that please you and bring you delight. “Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desire of your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)
• Purify my heart father. And allow the word to become active in my life, so I can understand it deeply. Thank you, for your guidance. I trust your word to develop holy confidence and righteousness within me. “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.“(Joshua 1:8)
• I praise you Jehovah-M’Kaddesh, the God whom sanctifies, for purifying me and bringing others into the cleansing blood of Jesus Christ. “I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” (Psalm 119:11)
• Thank you God for listening to my prayers. I know that you hear me and will answer me. “For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.” (1 Peter 3:12)
• Awaken my soul to know that you are near God. Help me to rest in your presence and patiently wait for your mighty move. “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.“ (Psalm 46:10)
• Father, I am tired from fighting these battles and waiting for promises that seem impossible. Please help me to continue on. I thank you for renewing my strength. “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:28)
• I thank you father, that I can trust in you without fear for the future. Your word says you will never forsake the righteous. “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:11)

Prayer to Hear God’s Voice

O’ Lord, I am in need of your guidance and direction. You said your word would be a lamp to my feet. You promised that you would show me which way to walk. And you promised that the spirit of truth would come and guide me into holiness and your divine path. So I declare your word to be true Abba. I declare that you are the promise keeper that never goes back on your word. I ask to hear your voice so clearly on the next steps and decisions that I need to make. I trust that you will speak father and when you do I wont hesitate to walk in the direction you choose.

Steady my heart father, so I can remain confident in your goodness despite any disappointments or obstacles that I may encounter on this journey. I know you are good and you withhold no good thing from me. I will mediate on your words day and night Lord. I will wait on you because I know you don’t put the righteous to shame. I will trust that you will protect me from bad relationships, wolves in sheep clothings, unGodly council, and false prophets that seek to corrupt your word and cause me to stumble. O’ how I love you father. I love how you love me. And I ask for a heart that can choose you all the days of my life. Amen.

Prayer Against International Disasters

O’ Lord, I thank you for all that you are doing behind the scenes within the nations. I ask for Heaven’s news report because the news report of men can be wicked. I thank you because you know the injustices that every country has faced and you bring justice despite the lies of man. I pray against financial problems, homelessness, poverty, hunger, diseases, and oppressive leaders. I ask that you would rebuke, redirect, and restore anything that is broken within the government of my country and the governments globally. O’ Lord, I thank you that you are the God that can bring anyone into your loving arms and set them upon a path of righteousness. I declare that nations globally are coming under your authority as we speak.

Thank you for releasing spiritual advisors to direct the course of governments globally. I declare spiritual leaders like the Daniels, Josephs, and Esthers in the Bible to rise up. Thank you that a powerful army of your children are being released into high places to replace, expose, and restore anything that the enemy has planned. I rejoice because you are interrupting Satan’s plan for Russia, Ukraine, the Middle East, China, Israel, Africa, and every other country. I declare every nation that is being led by demonic entities and wickedness in high places to be torn down and exposed. I ask for your ministering angels to protect the lives of innocent civilians in war struck countries. I rebuke every witch’s or warlock’s curse and I stand in agreement that the globe is being loosed from the authority of Satan. Abba father, I ask that you search the heart of deceivers and expose their lust for money, power, war, and division. You are the higher authority God and I thank you that you will have your spotless bride. Amen.

Prayer Against the Enemies’ Plan

Abba Father, I submit my tender and fragile spirit into your mighty hands. My human and/or spiritual enemies have surrounded me and they wear on my emotions and cause my strength to decrease. I ask that you would help me to move my gaze from their deceptive plots and allow me to focus on Heaven’s strategy for warfare. I declare that I will not let the enemies’ plot scare me because I know you are near to me father.

I thank you that you are the alpha and omega, the Great I am, the one that parted the sea, and the God that causes all things to work together for my good. I remember your miraculous works Abba. I remember that you destroyed the enemies’ plans to trap humanity into darkness; by sending your only begotten son Jesus Christ as a final sacrifice for sin. I am in awe of your love for humanity God and I choose to partner with you in prayer for the salvation of souls across the globe. I declare that the enemies’ plans for me are derailed, exposed, and destroyed.

I agree that every negative word and witches’ curse spoken over me is canceled. Thank you father for canceling every demonic assignments on my life. I trust you God to give me the strength and courage needed to believe that you will avenge me and fight my battles. I ask for patience, love, gentle kindness, wisdom, and faith to finish this trial strong. Thank you Elohim Shomri, for you are my protector and even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Amen.
